I was directed to this site when discussing accessible software for phonics, particularly pen based apps that speak and blend letters (as sounds – not letter names).

I'm a rehab engineer with special interest in AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication - communication techniques for people who have no natural speech and in many cases additional physical and/or learning disabilities).
