Technology Taster Day at the V&A Dundee

So excited to be part of the V&A Dundee Technology Taster Day with our research group as a partner! Dundee AAC Research Group will demo again “Painting with your Eyes” and “Chat like Stephen Hawking” as seen before at the National Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh.

And even more exciting: Becky Tyler will give a talk and demo EyeMine – playing Minecraft with your eyes (link to BBC report)! Her talk about her eye gaze journey starts at 11am.

I'm a rehab engineer with special interest in AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication - communication techniques for people who have no natural speech and in many cases additional physical and/or learning disabilities). I am working at the University of Dundee but love working out-with the academic field. I have started a Lego Mindstorms Robotic Club at my local primary school and I am Public Engagement lead for Computing at the School of Science and Engineering.
